Generosity For Spiritual Clarity (SERMON ONLY)

Lent is a season in which you are invited to consider the question, “What is my money attached to?” When we spend our money only on ourselves and what we like, we are attaching our money to no-thing but ourselves. But when you give your money away, you are attaching it to other causes and communities, ultimately drawing nearer to God. That is what it is to align your heart to what is important to God, and Lent invites you to that. Not simply by giving to your spiritual church home, but by giving to the poor and the organizations that support those in need.
