The Spiritual Life: Will God Stick With You?

We often wonder if God will stick with us when we make mistakes, and therefore it follows it we screw up God will abandon us. We also tell ourselves, if we throw good into the universe, the universe will throw good back to us. These are all words of a legalist: God’s love for me is based on my good performance. Jesus’ spiritual path disagrees, and says that there is a divine love out there in the universe which will never be taken away from you.
